HEAT USA is the largest heating oil buying group in the United States, with over 40,000 households and 200 heating oil dealers participating. HEAT uses the combined buying power of its membership to negotiate discounted rates for heating oil and service for our membership.
Discounted Heating Oil Price
To reduce your cost of heating oil we get our dealers to reduce their profit margin substantially compared to what they would normally charge. Your HEAT dealer still makes money on your business because we give him not just your business but the business of several hundred of your neighbors. The efficiencies he will enjoy by selling more oil make up for his reduced margin.
Free Service Contract
Your free service contract offers extensive parts and labor coverage for your heating system so if you do have a problem with your boiler or burner, it will very often be repaired at no charge by your HEAT dealer. The exception to this is when a part is not covered, in which case you will be charged a reasonable rate for the part and prevailing labor rates for the time it took to repair or replace it.
Your service contract provides you with 24-hour emergency service, so whether your heat goes out on Thanksgiving Day or at two-thirty in the morning, your service contract ensures your heating oil dealer is responsible for sending someone to fix it as quickly as possible.
Your dealer will also provide you with annual maintenance of your heating system to keep it clean and tuned to perform safely and efficiently.
In some markets a service contract with all these benefits costs nearly $300 per year. As a member of HEAT, you get it for free.
Convenient Oil Delivery
As a member of HEAT your deliveries will be performed on an automatic basis. This means your dealer will monitor your oil usage and anticipate when you will need a delivery. This is without question the safest and most convenient means of getting your oil deliveries.
You will also receive net-30 day payment terms, giving you nearly a month to pay for deliveries as they are made. Members also have the option of going on a budget or even-payment plan to spread payments out over the year rather than paying them all during the winter.

To be a member dealer of HEAT, companies are interviewed and screened for financial stability, service quality, reputation in the industry, insurance coverage and general professionalism among many other things. By being selective we ensure our members only work with solid and capable dealers.
